This is the perfect place to visit if you are seeking relaxation and an escape from the pressures of city life. We are located in a remote valley, far removed from civilization, and right in the midst of nature. A tranquil and serene setting to unwind and de-stress.
In Room Facilities:Each room has been named and themed after a significant part of our family history, and is decorated accordingly. In order for our guests to really escape and appreciate the serene and peaceful surrounds, all our rooms are TV-free. We encourage our guests to escape from technology and reconnect with nature and their loved ones.
Area Information:The Eastern Cape is known to be South Africa’s second-largest province following the Northern Cape as the largest. The capital of the province is Bhisho. This province is one of natural beauty and diversity unmatched in another province. The Eastern Cape moves from the desert-like Great Karoo to the lush forests of the Wild Coast and the Keiskamma Valley, on to the Langkloof Valley.
Property Facilities:We cater to discerning guests in our five stylish mountain-facing rooms. Each room has a private patio, a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom and a loft bedroom. Relax in the comfortable lounge area, or socialise in The Trout and Hound restaurant and bar. Breakfast is catered based on your activities for the day. All-day grazing is available. Dinner is a farm-to-fork home-cooked experience.
Walk, ride, hike and mountain bike along the farm jeep tracks when feeling adventurous, or discover the delights of fly fishing in the Sterkspruit River.

Reviews
Lovely farm accommodation, clean, spacious and comfortable. Good food and friendly hosts. A good area for cycling, walking and birding. Pleasant for a stayover if travelling between the Gauteng and the Eastern Cape.
This was a trip down memory lane for me and I had a memorable stay. The bed was comfortable, the food excellent, the water hot and our hosts very friendly
Looking forward to my next visit!
