The Sandune Game Lodge is one of Namibia’s finest luxury safari lodges. With a land area of 9000 hectares in the Kalahari Forest near Gobabis, Sandune provides the most luxurious accommodation in Namibia. The lodge offers onsite and local activities as well as world-class cuisine and exceptional hospitality. It has over 2000 game animals and over 20 different species.
Sandune’s spacious air-conditioned rooms feature full en-suite bathrooms and lavish amenities. The rooms are decorated to reflect Africa’s essence in a luxury game lodge setting, and guests have their choice of a spacious king-size bed or twin three-quarter beds. All rooms are serviced daily and a laundry service is also available on request. Nespresso coffee machines are standard in all rooms.
Guests are treated to full African breakfasts, outdoor lunches, boma barbecues, delicious lodge meals and scenic sundowner spots as the sun sets over the African bush veld. Everything from snacks to main meals and desserts are freshly made in-house, and we are proud to offer only the finest meals and delicacies.
Elegant, chic and contemporary, Sandune’s Bar and Lounge is your go-to space for quiet reflection and sophisticated refreshments by day. There are African artefacts adorning the bar and lounge at Sandune, and the bar’s colour scheme evokes the colours of Africa’s surface. An al fresco experience is created by glass stack doors that open onto the rim-flow pool. Its long, L-shaped bar and lounge follow the poolside line to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, and a fireplace in winter adds to the comfort. Watch antelope species grazing just beyond the pool deck as you relax with a drink in hand.
