Brava’s coastline boasts compelling fertile deep gorges and dramatic cliffs that drop down to the ocean and is thus not ideal for a beach getaway, however a stunning bay with a small volcanic sand beach beckon at the appealing Faja d’Agua village nestled at the foot of the mountains. Walk up the Pico of Fontainhas, Brava's highest mountain peak, from where astounding panoramic views of the island can be relished and marvel at the spellbinding landscapes this awe-inspiring island has to offer.
