Colesberg the town has really gone down, rubbish everywhere, dirty and dusty. However as we stayed in the wonderful lodge outside of the town, we will overnight again in the area, as it is in the middle of Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Friendly people and just the right distance from Gauteng to take a break.
Spectacular view of animals and the mountains.
The roads are in great condition, we did not go into the town.

The beautiful sheep-farming and racehorse breeding town is surrounded by hills of which the towering Coleskop can be seen from a distance as far as 40 kilometres.
