Glenhazel Reviews
More info about Glenhazel
The Johannesburg suburb of Glenhazel boasts a superb central position within the city and is a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. Glenhazel has neighbours in Sandringham and Fairmount, and like the latter Glenhazel is a predominantly Jewish suburb; in fact, 90% of Greater Glenhazel is Jewish and features a large number of synagogues, yeshivas, and schools in the area. Furthermore, many amenities in the Fairmount and Glenhazel communities are Kosher friendly.
While Glenhazel is indeed sheltered from the noise and congestion of inner city Johannesburg, it does have very easy access to a number of the city’s main highways and link roads. The Johannesburg CBD in itself is just 7km away while the impressive terminals of the international OR Tambo is within reasonable distance too. This leafy enclave has a number of entertainment outlets as well as stores and restaurants all within the vicinity including the Greenstone Shopping Centre... Show more
About Self Catering
Self Catering places can be found from rural to urban areas and can vary in what they offer. They allow plenty freedom and is a great inexpensive way to spend your holiday. They have been widely classified as a “Home away from home”. This is a good option for guests who don’t mind cooking their own food, and are looking for a more independent and flexible form of accommodation. For budget and large families, we would recommend self-catering for a more personalised experience.
