More info about Glenmore Beach
Glenmore Beach is a suburb of Port Edward on the southern coast of KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa. The region is known as the Hibiscus Coast, named after the bright hibiscus flower – whose colours range from yellows to reds – that enhances the lush greenery surrounding the coastal towns.
Shark nets are present at Glenmore Beach to ensure safe swimming and life guards are on duty during the holiday season. Surfing is good, however, there are rocks and it’s best to surf in the morning before the wind picks up.
The area has a subtropical climate and dolphins are regular visitors to these shores. In winter, the spectacular Sardine Run can be viewed here.
Glenmore Beach is a sun worshipper’s paradise, the uncrowded beaches extend for miles and the seas are delightfully warm.

About Self Catering
Self Catering places can be found from rural to urban areas and can vary in what they offer. They allow plenty freedom and is a great inexpensive way to spend your holiday. They have been widely classified as a “Home away from home”. This is a good option for guests who don’t mind cooking their own food, and are looking for a more independent and flexible form of accommodation. For budget and large families, we would recommend self-catering for a more personalised experience.
