Situated approximately 5km from the capital of the Seychelles Victoria, lies the Sainte Anne National Marine Park. Home to the nesting site of the hawksbill turtles; the park also protects over 150 species of fish. First created in 1973 to preserve wildlife, it is now known as a prime tourist destination in the Indian Ocean for various water activities. Although fishing and waterskiing is not allowed, the coral reef is just waiting to be explored. Tourists are overwhelmed by the underwater beauty and vast amount of sea creatures found here as you enjoy scuba diving, going on glass-bottom boat excursions and snorkeling. The glass-bottom boat excursions especially allow visitors to view all that the Marine Park has to offer without having to get wet!
