Situated approximately 5km from the capital of the Seychelles Victoria, lies the Sainte Anne National Marine Park. Home to the nesting site of the hawksbill turtles; the park also protects over 150 species of fish. First created in 1973 to preserve wildlife, it is now known as a prime tourist destination in the Indian Ocean for various water activities. Although fishing and waterskiing is not allowed, the coral reef is just waiting to be explored.
