The Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s best kept secret and a wonderful wildlife park; it is the least visited out of all the northern parks in the country, but this works to its advantage as there is a distinct air of mystery that surrounds it. Just two hours away from Arusha, Tarangire is south east of Lake Manyara and is named after the Tarangire River that flows through the park.
Tarangire National Park is blessed with some of Tanzania’s most amazing views, and features an eclectic fusion of endless savannah plains, rolling hills, swamps, rivers, baobab trees, and rock outcrops.
