Trou d'Eau Douce, situated on the east coast of Mauritius, seems to have stepped out from a postcard. Quaint and unpretentious, the beautiful village which name loosely translates to “sweet water hole” is framed by a wide powder-white sand beach drenched by a sea of endless shades of blue.
