Langebaan Holiday Homes Terms and Conditions

1. Right of admission to this property is reserved
This house is situated in a residential area and good neighbor relations are important. Therefore, we strictly enforce our Terms and Conditions.

2. Legal responsibility
The person signing this Agreement accepts full responsibility, in his personal capacity, for any losses, breakages or damages of any nature occurring to this house, or the content thereof, for the duration of their stay.

3. Misbehaviour
3.1. Misbehaviour is defined as follows and will not be tolerated. Misbehaviour will affect the Breakage Deposit pay out. :
• Excessive noise and/or loud music – any time during the day or night (when neighbours can hear you it is “excessive” or “loud”),
• If at any time there are more people on the premises than agreed to in Section 2 above,
• Any commercial activity, team building, party or disco, 21st birthday party, matric gathering, bachelor-, hen parties, and
• Any other action judged by LHH as misbehaviour, including but not limited to:
o Smoking inside the house,
o Pets being present, except by special arrangement for guide dogs for the visually handicapped,
o Items missing, broken or damaged. Replacement value will be subtracted from the Breakage Deposit
o Towels used on the beach. Guests need to provide their own beach towels,
o Windows and/or doors left open and the alarm not armed upon departure,
o Very messy house and excessive dirty dishes resulting in extra cleaning costs, and
o Stained and/or soiled linen. Linen will be replaced and the costs will be recouped from the Breakage Deposit.
3.2. This document serves as a final warning. By signing this Agreement you agree to immediate eviction, should you be requested to do so by LHH. When a group is perceived as a risk to the house, LHH may decide to refuse entrance to the house at point of check-in. Payments will not be refunded.

4. General
4.1. All facilities are used at own risk.
4.2. LHH abides to all rules and regulations promulgated by the local authority from time to time. We expect the guests to do the same,

4.4. The Langebaan Country Estate speed limits and rules are strictly enforced. When a fine is issued guests are hereby obliged to pay the fine and the Breakage Deposit will be utilised for this purpose. Should the Breakage Deposit not be sufficient, the guest remains liable to pay the balance.

5. Breakage deposit (BD)
Any costs incurred to restore the house to the condition prior to the point of check-in will be deducted from the BD. The BD is normally refunded within 10 business days after departure. Should the BD not be enough to cover damages or costs, the responsible person in terms of this agreement remains responsible, in his personal capacity, for additional costs.

6. Cancellation policy
Cancellation policy on bookings made via third parties = the policy of said third party applies
Cancellation 7 days or less prior to arrival = 100% of accommodation fee
Cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival = 50% of accommodation fee
