The self catering log cabins are nestled in a lush blue gum forest, each with an open plan sleeping and living area, with a well equipped kitchen. Relax in the oval bath tub in the bay window and enjoy the views. This is an ideal romantic getaway for two. The cabins have electric blankets, gas heaters, linen and towels are also provided. Gas bottle for rent for the heater at reception.

Both our self catering guest cottages are in a tranquil setting with breathtaking views of the Drakensberg and the picturesque valley below. The double storey cottages are spacious and comfortable. The central fire place creates a cosy atmosphere, especially on chilly winter evenings, spending time with family and friends. Each cottage consists of two comfortable double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with a separate toilet, a spacious loft area with a toilet, an open plan living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottages each sleep up to 8. Electric blankets, linen and towels are provided.

We had a lovely stay, unfortunately we had to return earlier due to the lockdown.
Awesome scenery with peaceful surroundings. The crowning glory is the bath, at tree level with mountain view.

Our weekend break was in the self-catering Protea cottage.
Lovely open plan design with a huge bath settled in a bay window. Amazing view while you relax.
Cottage had everything we needed.
Hostess was very welcoming & accommodating. She didn't mind us leaving late.
I would definitely stay there again.

Although it was only one night, it was very cozy and comfortable. Very quaint wooden cabin.
We woke up to breath taking beauty all around us. The main farm house and out buildings were very rustic out of this world. A great privilege to stay there as I am a descendant of the Underberg Nicholsons.

Sani Pass and the beautiful hikes in the area. Close to the Umzimkulu River for rafting and tubing. Horse riding and golf. So much to do.

Beautiful area. Having snow on the mountains added to the charm immensely but there are certainly so many places to visit and see. Our main purpose of our visit was to do the CHOC Walk up Sani Pass so didnt allow for too much touring time but definitely saw places we would go and visit on a return trip to the Underberg.
