On a summerâ??s day take a dip in the sun splashed swimming pool. Jacuzzi, Sauna and BBQ facilities are available to guests. A childrenâ??s playground is available in close proximity. A Fitness Centre with a variety of equipment is also available to guests.
The Jorge's Restaurant specializes in French, Portuguese and South African cuisine and now also serves traditional Oven Baked Pizzas and Light Meals.
This Restaurant is open to both guests and public from 10h30 until late evening.
Tour groups are most welcome and the traditional Swellengrebel Buffet is available daily for groups of 20 and more that have made reservations before their arrival date.
These sumptuous meals are served in our Esplanada Dining Room. Up to 250 guests can be served during meal times.
Tour groups that have not made reservations are catered for in the Jorgeâ??s Restaurant.
Swellendam is the third oldest town in the Republic of South Africa, a town with 17,537 inhabitants situated in the Western Cape province. The town has over 50 provincial heritage sites most of them buildings of Cape Dutch architecture.

* Drostdy Museum:
The museum displays an exceptionally beautiful collection of furniture from the 18th and 19th century, including kitchen equipment, horse carriages etc. An extensive photo and picture collection illustrates the history of Swellendam.
Golf players will appreciate the 9-hole golf course in Swellendam with its inspiring view of the Langeberg. The greenfees are low, and this course is obviously much less busy than Cape Town courses.. Although only 9 holes this is an extremely good course and visitors are welcome.
* Marloth Nature Reserve:
Extending from the edge of the the town to the top of the majestic Langeberg mountains. Beautiful walks to waterfalls through indigenous forest. At the Marloth Nature Reserve, you will see klipspringer, duiker, rhebok and leopard.
