This fully furnished, self-catering cottage has a large open plan lounge and fully equipped kitchen. It has 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and has a view onto the Crocodile River and the Kruger Park beyond. There is also a second living area with two single beds for additional sleeping capacity. Two of the three bedrooms are on the ground level.

Exclusive use of the cottage is guaranteed!

The cottage has a braai (barbeque) area and splash pool that adds to the enjoyment of the natural bush.
There is a lovely viewing deck overlooking the Crocodile river and the Kruger National Park. Wild animals kudu, zebra, giraffe and warthog wander freely around the cottage. At night you can hear the roar of lion and the call of the hyena. The grunting of hippos in the river add to the magic of the bushveld.

In Room Facilities:

The house has air-conditioning, overhead fans as well as standing fans to choose your comfort level.
One of the bathrooms is tastefully and appointed for use by both able-bodied and persons with disabilities. The beds are also the appropriate height for wheelchair users.

Area Information:

Wild animals, such as giraffe, zebra, kudu and wildebeest wander freely around the cottage. One can often see elephant, lion, buffalo and even wild dog on the Kruger Park side of the fence. This fence is only 30 meters from the patio! The Kruger National Park entrance gate, however, is about 15m from Marloth Park.

Property Facilities:

DSTV with a colour flat-screen TV is set in the sitting room. There is a splash pool and a viewing deck from which to view the surrounding veld and the Kruger National Park.
Ideally for use by both able-bodied and persons with disabilities.

Attractions:

Marloth Park has it’s own adjoining wildlife reserve and boasts 4 of the big 5, the exception being the elephant. You are, however, likely to spot elephant walking near the fence or playing in the Crocodile River directly in front of the cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kruger View Cottage in Marloth Park. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. Ideally placed on the banks of the Crocodile river looking into Kruger NP, it is an ideal base to explore the Park from. Marloth Park is self contained so far as buying food, petrol etc and there are good restaurants to choose from for those who do not wish to cook themselves.

Our hostess, Genie was helpful and friendly as usual we thank her for her hospitality. We may be bac

Nice and quiet, with game walking around the area.
We saw Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe and Wildebeest.
A short drive of 3 minutes takes you to the Olifants river where you can watch all animals going down to the river to drink.
Its also only 17km from Olifants Gate at Komatipoort to go into the Kruger Park.
