The Victoria Hotel is a typical family-run country hotel built in the early 19th century. Originally built in the Victorian style but some changes have been made during the ensuing years, but some originality can still be seen and appreciated. The Victoria Hotel has been in the Teixeira Family for the past 21 years.
The Victoria Hotel is suitable for those couples or families who wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life or business men in or around Bredasdorp looking for comfortable accommodation.
Enjoy a nice quite evening in the African lounge on the first floor whilst you are winding down after a long day, or warm up in front of the fireplace.
Guests can linger in the ladies or main bar, which are both fully licensed. The traditional hotel bar has a pool table for over 18s and there is a retail liquor outlet that is open to both hotel guests and the general public. Be sure to watch a rugby or soccer match in the main bar with the locals as part of our small-town experience.
Our breakfast room has a seating capacity of 55 guests and can also be converted into a conference venue. Enjoy a scrumptious buffet style breakfast of cereals, yogurts, fruits, juice, coffee and a full English breakfast.
The Victoria Hotel has 29 guest rooms, of which 21 rooms offer luxury accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, TVs and spacious interiors.
The hotel has a warm semi African touch in most of the rooms and public area’s. The rooms are all situated on the 1st floor and are accessible by a flight of stairs. Coffee or tea can be requested and served in the room at any time of the day and early hours as a wake up call.
Guest can wind down, enjoy a drink and have a meal at any of our fabulous restaurants in the surrounding area. Come and enjoy a peaceful night sleep and wake up to our scrumptious breakfast.
Nearby activities include the shipwreck museum, Kapula Candle Factory tours, lifestyle center and the Bredasdorp 9-hole Golf Club. Arniston beach is a short five-minute drive from the establishment
