A Home Away From Home - Our family driven business offers the visitor quality and comfort at very affordable rates. Accommodation consists of individual 2 or 5 Sleeper unit with all amenities which forms part of a Cape Colonial Heritage Building to ensure a great stay.
Guests can enjoy scrumptious breakfast or evening meals on request.
De Hoop, a nature reserve with abundant wildlife, Whale Watching, fynbos and bird life, is only 49km away.

Jacqueline is an Awesome hostess and she baked the most delicious banana bread. We had the most amazing and comfortable time at this establishment. Truly, Home Away from Home.
Jacqueline couldn't have been nicer. She was present when we arrived - she and her husband live in the attached area next door. They swapped a mattress between rooms so that I would be more comfortable. Left cookies and apples for us. The house is exactly as the photos. No surprises here. If you need a quick spot just to sleep, her place will work although there is a kitchen if you wish to cook.
It is a nice place to stay if you want to explore the most southern point of the African continent. Jacqueline did everything to make our stay comfortable, she greeted us with a delicious cake and was helpful in every way.
This was a lovely well equipped room in a very old and funky restaurant. I had everything I needed and Jacqueline knows how to treat a guest from email contact, fruit, milk and fresh muffins on arrival to just great kindness. A great place to stay, safe and quiet thanks Les.

Kate's Country Kitchen was exactly the kind of accommodation we were looking for. Neat, homely, peaceful and perfect. Jackie is an absolutely wonderful hostess and made a deliciously scrumptious breakfast. It was a home away from home experience for my partner and I. The garden was a relaxing place for an early morning ciggie with coffee among the beautiful herbs and fruit trees. Would highly recommend this warm country cottage.
