Sand River Cottages is a 3-star self-catering establishment situated 3 km from Hazyview Lowveld Mall. The Phabeni Gate into the Kruger National Park is just 9 km away. It has family cottages each with 2 bedrooms, 2 private bathrooms, patio, living room, satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchen.
In Room Facilities:Each family cottage has two (2) bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and is equipped with an air conditioner. An open plan fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge is equipped with a 32 inch full HD television and DSTV channels, and sleeper couch. The patio overlooks the Sand River is equipped with patio chairs and table/s accommodating 2 to 4 guests, with a private outside braai facility.
Area Information:We also offer full day game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles which can be booked in advance. Morning day walks and sunset drives into the Kruger National Park can also be booked in advance.
Property Facilities:The property is surrounded by a security fence as well as sufficient outside lighting. Towels and all linen are provided with a daily maid service. Braai facilities, garden with children's play area and swimming pool.
Attractions:The panoramic route from Hazyview to Graskop with stops at Blyde River Canyon, (third largest canyon in the world), God’s window, the Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Wonder View, Pinnacle Rock, Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls can all be done in a day trip from us. A guided tour can also be arranged with one of our experienced guides.
