The views of Knysna heads need to be seen to be believed. Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds and friendly and helpful staff. The food was really delicious and served in a room with a wonderful outlook.
It's always a pleasure staying here. The atmosphere, view, the wine, the food, you can't ask for more. Breakfast with the open doors looking over the ocean, it's spectacular. Sulani and the team has truly made this an experience you will not forget.
Just spent three incredible days at Head over Hills! The view in real life is even better than the images .

Do not forget to try some of the amazing wines while you are watching the whales.
We arrived on a quiet Monday night and were made to feel very welcome. The hot tub was lovely and Jason had baked some home made cookies which my daughter loved. We ate at the hotel and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
We had the most amazing stay at Head Over Hills! The rooms were great to stay in plus the view was so incredible and the service from all was amazing!! We also got some amazing wine recommendations!
An unforgettable place, very helpful and kind staff! It's the right place if you want a magnificent view. You can enjoy the landscape in a Jacuzzi on the deck. Also the restaurant is very good and at a reasonable price.
The trip to Knysna for the Forest run was a definite top memory holiday this year round. Head Over Hills is situated in the most amazing location for rest and relaxation. The overwhelming feeling of being able to experience such beauty is felt form check-in to check-out. The staff, rooms, food, wine and overall experience was truly magical! The Symes' will be back, SOON.
This amazing little hotel is set on one of the most beautiful spots on a very beautiful coastline. Amazing location, staff and food. For a romantic weekend away it cant be beaten. Have dinner at its restaurant after sunset drinks and then chill in the jacuzzi and take in the sounds of the ocean.
If you want accommodation with the best view in Knysna and with the best selection of quality wines you need to stay here. It's a great romantic getaway for couples. View Point room we stayed in was really nice and the service was great.
Very familiar and warm atmosphere . Service is top class, Staff very helpful and service minded. Nice rooms with outstanding views over the ocean. Bikes and golf clubs for rent . Very good wines and kitchen.
