Beautiful nature. Tent very basic and overpriced, but a wonderful experience in the nature and Spitzkoppen is just amazing for me.

We loved our stay in the campsite here. It's all basic but we didn't miss anything. The pool is small but clean and with a fantastic view. The staff were helpful and friendly. We did do the "sunset walk" which I would recommend - but just to do on your own, not worth paying for. Watching the sunset from one of the nearby boulders was fantastic (but we could easily have done that on our own, just walk around the local area!). It was not busy when we were there, which added to our experience, but the pitches were separated and not too close. There was a toilet, shower and cooking area with each pitch, basic but all you needed. The area is magical and the star gazing fantastic.

We had an amazing time at Spitzkoppe. We definitely had a fab time - the staff was friendly and helpful. The place was in an amazing setting!

Very good concept with a certain percentage of the income going to the local community. Friendly and helpful staff and tent facilities are comfortable and practical. The rustic, quiet atmosphere is special, please retain it - that is why most people go there. With continuous use, however, tent zips, wooden stairs, railings, etc, inevitably require continuous maintenance and attention. Great place.

Very disappointed. We got a family unit that had just been built and not yet finished. the room had 4 beds with no other furniture. the mattresses were old and torn, no cover sheet. A blanket was stuck inside a duvet cover for the double bed. a flat sheet pulled over the torn mattress. No plug. Private bathroom was just an enclosed area at the back of the bedroom, shower water pouring down onto wooden slats (floor) that had not even been sanded yet. Horrible experience I want to forget!!

Very poor. 1 out of 5
