The Kgotla at Horizon Botswana. The "Kgotla" is an old traditional court enclosure from a nearby community. Made of leadwood logs it provides us with a secure location for a camp. With hot running water and all modern conveniences it is the perfect combination of comfort and an authentic bush experience. Sleep under the stars around a large log fire.

The Horizon Lodge Signature Safari in South Africa which is perfect for those who like a tailor made day with complete flexibility and a great variety of riding options. It is an ideal choice for those who are of mixed ability as we can accommodate all levels of riders and all ages. It is also a great option for lovers of luxury who would like to combine their riding holiday with beautifully appointed rooms and leisurely hours spent in the sprawling gardens set alongside our stunning dam. This trip is suitable for all riding abilities. No fixed arrival or departure dates and can be booked for any number of days or weeks!

We then have a Safari called the African Explorer which combines 4 nights of safari riding in South Africa at our luxury tented camp in the Waterberg, with three nights in Botswana at our Horizon Botswana base in the Tuli Block. This safari is perfect for those looking for a true African Safari but who are budget conscious and is also suitable for those who seeking a luxurious camping option. This trip is for Strong Intermediate / experienced riders.

Finally we have the Tuli Safari, based in the Tuli Block, Botswana this safari is for the very experienced rider, those used to long hours in the saddle and who are able to jump small obstacles. It also suits those looking for a genuine mobile safari in a true wilderness area with an abundance of game, in particular elephants.
