The Village Lodge, a unique and delightful Garden Route Guest House with three star grading, offering bed and breakfast and situated in the centre of Storms River Village on the edge of the Tsitsikamma Forest. Friendly hosts, lovely home-cooked breakfasts and always a big welcome from Diesel, the friendly dog! For guest use, a fully equipped covered lapa with braai facilities and an outdoor kitchen. For instant relaxation, there are 3 hammocks for you to try out. Those who wish to dine out - we are very close to several good restaurants within Storms River Village. We have a games room for those rainy days and not so rainy days with board games and an arcade machine as well.
In Room Facilities:The Village Lodge Guest House has accommodation to suit everyone, double rooms, family rooms for up to four persons and also a delightful open-plan self-catering unit for four. All rooms are en-suite with shower toilet and basin, all have DSTV select and tea/coffee facilities.
Area Information:With the Tsitsikamma mountains towering on the one side, the Indian Ocean crashing its waves against the unspoilt rocky shoreline on the other side you have found it, a true unspoilt paradise.
Tsitsikamma, Khoi San word meaning "place of good waters" The Tsitsikamma region stretches from the Bloukrans bridge in the West, to Eersterivier in the East.

You can enjoy walking through the protected indigenous forest, cool your feet in a riverine or even swim in the dark waters (tanin causes the water in the rivers to display a unique dark colour). Appreciate the flora, yellow wood, hard pear and stink wood trees are a few of the old men of the forest, giant sword ferns and tree ferns, fynbos and oh, all the colourful watsonias!
You will find all sorts of wildlife: the ever naughty baboon, honey badgers, cape clawless otter, bushpig, bushbuck, dassie and even maybe a leopard.
Birdlife include the beautiful narina trojon, knysna loerie, oyster catcher, chorisher robin, sunbird and many more. Donâ??t forget the marine life, you can find the familiar bottlenose dolphin and southern right whales to name but a few.

Pleasant surroundings. Donelle is a super host and made sure we were comfortable. All in all a pleasant stay.
Very friendly staff - Zane and Jocelyn, nice breakfast, our room was very big and the place is in central location in the small village, A good place to stay when visiting The Tsitsikamma nature reserve.

The Village Lodge is a great choice for accommodation in Storms River. The location is perfect and the grounds are quite lovely. There is also a BBQ and social area for guests which gives the lodge a homey feel. I would definitely recommend this property!

Excellent welcome and stay, bravo.
This is a great place to stay with helpful staff, nice rooms and a good location in the middle of the village. There are restaurants and a grocery nearby as well as bikes to rent & other activities. I highly recommend this hotel.
