Water's Edge is a family holiday house on a tidal lagoon/river. Enjoy beautiful views across the lagoon to the mountain peaks of George with awesome sunsets and reflections. Allow children to paddle in the shallow waters or help you press prawns for the fishing hooks. A canoe is provided for your use, or bring your own craft to enjoy water sports with a slipway nearby. Walk to shops, restaurants, library, and beach.
In Room Facilities:Large open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area. Three double bedrooms with spacious cupboards. Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and dressing tables. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. 1 shared bathroom (shower/bath) and a separate toilet.
Area Information:Bring your small craft to enjoy paddling around or doing other exciting water sports - A slipway is nearby. Enjoy fun in the sun on the beach and swimming at the river mouth. Walk to shops, restaurants, library and beach. A canoe is provided for guests to use.
Property Facilities:The most popular spot is the outdoor shower, toilet, with handbasin which catches the morning sun. Enjoy the very large north facing verandah overlooking the lagoon. The Lounge flows onto the terrace with water views and braai/BBQ area. There is a lovely sheltered second braai/BBQ area to the east of the house. Double carport in the front. Note - House is accessible by stairs.
Attractions:Sedgefield is in the heart of the Garden Route between George and Knysna. The area boasts one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline with a wide range of leisure options, spectacular scenery and a mild climate to guarantee an unforgettable holiday experience in South Africa.

Enjoyed everything, the slow pace, nature, canoeing on the lake. The stay at Lake Pleasant was awesome! Will definitely return for a longer stay.
