A true gem.
Comfortable and not a long way of the N3. Friendly and accommodating people.

Very nice place to stay. Hein was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view and very quiet place to stay. The chalets however need some attention and the beds mattresses need to be changed. It is still a nice place to stay and will go back anytime.

It was a sudden decision to go for a night out, so we went for game farm near to Sterkfontein dam and we end up booking Mount Everest.
We started at eve near 6pm from Joburg and while reaching destination we were welcomed by thunderstorm and lightning.
It was pitch dark and the location was bit offbeat and the whole area gave a haunted feel, but that's the best part of it. On arrival at farm we were accommodated at 10 sleeper room for 5 people, an upgrade without any cost. It had all the amenities required and the chalet gave a rustic feeling which was itself a thrill.
Morning was a bliss with a beautiful sunrise and greenish game yard. A mesmerizing scenic beauty, charm to your eyes.
The area is 1000 hectares and they have chalets at base of mountain where things run on gas and solar and you will be away from your electronic devices. We are looking for the same in our next visit.
One can do lot of adventurous activities from trekking to abseling.
The game is quite affordable and can accommodate lot of people.
Always looking forward to stay again.

Very nice place! Unfortunately the gas geyser were not in a working order during our stay. Cabin was very neat and clean. Road to the cabin is not for a normal car, especially when it it’s raining.
Need to tell the visitors beforehand about the road conditions

Okay. 3 out of 5
