HomeAway is literally home-from-home, featuring five clean and comfortable self-catering cottages and two three-bedroomed houses in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of all amenities in the historic village of Tulbagh – museums, galleries, theatre, restaurants, takeaways and shops.
Each cottage has garden views and its own veranda, plus access to a sparkling pool and braai facilities. The two houses on the property are generously proportioned, each with their own private entertainment area and pool. There is also plenty of off-road parking.
HomeAway is extremely popular with groups who enjoy holidaying together, or guests attending the same wedding. Professional people are also most welcome.
Ideal as a base from which to explore the area, that extra bit of 'elbow-room' and provision of home comforts makes HomeAway the perfect choice for those who wish to spend more than just a night.

Surrounded by a bowl of mountains and nestling in a fertile valley, Tulbagh is the fourth oldest town in the country, set in the Cape Winelands within easy driving range from Cape Town. Charming Church Street features no less than 32 National Monuments and five museums - people often visit to trace their ancestry buried in the cemeteries, admire the architectural heritage so beautifully restored post the 1969 earthquake, or simply take a step back into the ambience of yesteryear.
Tulbagh has several restaurants as well as regular musical offerings at the Saronsberg theatre and various other ad hoc entertainment and festivals. The beautiful surrounding countryside features mixed agriculture plus a wine route of 16 cellars producing some of the finest wines in the country.
