Enjoy an affordable country escape on an organic lifestyle farm in the beautiful Naauwpoort Valley. The farm has 3 well presented country cottages from 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms, each with a private plunge pool. Our cottages are ideal for romantic break aways and/or for family holidays. We can accommodate groups of 2-8 people on a self-catering basis. Breakfast can be included if arranged at the time of booking. There are walking trails on the farm and up to the top of the hill for amazing views. For birdwatchers, the farm has a prolific bird life and you may even have the chance of seeing some of the local game such as kudu, jackal, bushbuck, warthog and leopard which are rarely seen. Guests can go for walks, go mountain biking or go and visit the animals on the farm such as nguni cattle, meatmaster sheep, chickens, and horses.

What a lovely little place. If you enjoy peace and quiet and can handle the odd little critter part of farm life, then you should visit. There are loads of space for dogs to run around in the yard while you relax in the splash pool. You can also take a stroll on the farm. This wasn't my first visit and it won't be my last either. Linda and Peter are great hosts.

We had a great time. The place was big, neat and had everything we needed. The dogs and kids loved the space to play. We ordered the picnic basket and that was amazing. We will definitely go back. 5 stars

We had a wonderful stay at Pushka Farms! Our biggest concern was finding a pet-friendly place for our doggies, well Pushka Farm was the answer to all our concerns. The Stone Cottage was well fenced in so we didn't have to worry about escaping pooches. The cottage itself was so lovely and very well equipped we had everything we needed and more! The surrounds also made for great walks and the natural splash pool was a treat! Thanks, Peter and Linda for a wonderful experience, we will be back!

Such a great little place. Our stay a the Writers Cottage was quiet and peaceful, the bed was comfy and the linen was really nice. It's close enough from JHB for the drive back not to be a chore, and far enough away that it felt like you were somewhere completely different. It's a fantastic getaway spot for a relaxing long weekend.

Quaint old-fashioned farm cottage to get away from it all. Looks like Ouma could have lived there. No frills, but everything you need including towels, cutlery and cooking utensils. I recommend a week's stay, will give you time to really relax. Candle light and solar power only, but you can charge cell phones and laptops - all the important things. The friendly horses were really amazing. They are happy to be fed fruit and veggies - just don't put your fingers in their mouths! Owners are really helpful if you need anything. Lovely homemade soaps and marmalade for sale in the farm shop. For a treat, book a picnic next to the river, you will not be disappointed. Only an hour's drive from Joburg and very pet friendly.

Lovely little place, lovely people and even an ostrich to keep you entertained. What I likes most was the care that was taken in adding personal touches and supplying absolutely everything you might need! The only thing we needed and couldn't find was a pen hahaha (which is our own fault). Beautiful quaint interior, sparkling clean and an anthracite burner in each room, very very cozy. Great, comfy clean bed and fluffy duvet / bedding and small extras such as warm water bottles and bathrobes should you need them. Best braai wood ever that burns for hours and 3 separate braai areas available. A lovely walk to a picnic area and a slightly more challenging but very beautiful walk up the clifftop path. The hosts were available and responsive when needed. The GPS pin did send us to the wrong place so rather follow the directions from the hosts. Highly recommended.

Most of the attractions are not very far from each other. We didn't have to drive so far for the activities.
