Goblin’s Inn, the latest addition to the ever-expanding Goblin family, is located in quite peaceful surrounding of Stompneusbaai, only 5 houses away from the now well-known Goblin’s Creek and a 2 min walk away from Goblin Bay.
The Inn offers an alternative to the romantic Goblin’s Creek, with most rooms boasting showers, TV's, fans and breathtaking sea views from the first floor.
Downstairs Goblin’s Inn has a 1bedroom self-catering apartment as well as a 2 bedroomed family self-catering apartment with view over the Shelley Point park. The terrace has a sheltered communal braai facility. Upstairs are 4 beautifully appointed luxurious rooms with a breathtaking view over Goblin bay. Each room upstairs has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, sitting area, fan, and TV. The communal terrace has a braai area. A large dining table invites for a relaxed braai.
In Room Facilities:
The 4 rooms upstairs have either queen or king beds which can be changed into single beds, coffee/ tea facility, fridge, fan and TV with a selection of DSTV channels. But no self-catering facility. The en-suite bathroom has a shower.
Bedding, linen and towels are supplied.
Enjoy the spectacular view from the first floor over Goblin's Bay while you relax on the bed or the balcony with a glass of wine or having a braai at our built-in braai facility.
At the ground floor are the 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. These two apartments sharing a covered braai area. There is no direct sea view from the ground floor.
The 1 bedroom apartment has a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and a coffee making facility.
The en-suite bathroom has a bath only.
The 2 bedroom apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with 2 plate stove, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster.
The bathroom has a shower. The lounge has a comfortable sofa and a TV.
Area Information:
Take a two minute walk to nearby Goblin's Bay - Stroll the white sands - view the calving whales who come from August to years end and also large schools of dolphins leaping and chasing close by. Stompneus Bay is a lovely protected cove on the South Western shore of St. Helena Bay - one of the only three natural bays on the mainland coastlines of the world where one can see both sunset and sunrise over the sea. Though only 150 km from Cape Town, St Helena Bay has a milder and warmer climate providing ideal conditions for your stay in the peace of this quiet haven. Well situated for day visits to the West Coast National Park, Cape Columbine Nature Reserve and the quaint fishing village of Paternoster. Or you can join a tour of the internationally renowned paleontological diggings at the nearby Fossil Park.

Plenty of parking places are available in front of the house or at the back. The large balcony on the first floor has a breathtaking sea view and is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view or for having a delicious braai with your loved ones.
Attractions:
Shops, restaurants, beautiful beaches and numerous tourist attractions, like the West Coast and Boland wine route, the golf course at Shelley Point, the famous surfing spot “heaven, hell and pastures" are all within a short distance, the Humpback Whales and the Southern Right Whales, often in the company of dusky dolphins can be seen throughout the year. A Spa for a relaxing massage at Shelley Point is close by. Not far away is the Berg River where you will find more than 190 bird species and look out for the pink flamingos too. Another stop for bird enthusiasts is the beautiful West Coast National Park.
