There are three luxury tents each with a private en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped with fridge, stove and catering utensils. Small kitchenette and a private "braaiplek" for each tent. All tents sleep a maximum of two people, 2 of the tents feature a double bed and the third has two single beds.
These tents are located in the bush behind a sand dune, 500 meters walk from to a 40 km long unspoiled sandy beach. The beach is also accessible with a 4x4 vehicle. This facility is on a private beach front farm with no access for the public.There is also a 400 meters long private airstrip on the farm that can be used by light aircraft prior to arrangement.
The farm is halfway between Dwarskersbos and Elands Bay and the nearby Verloren Vlei area is known for it's birdlife. On the beach you will find numerous breeding pairs of Black Oyster Catchers (Tobie) and their nests specially during the summer months. Elands Bay is also known for it's abundance of crayfish during the crayfish catching season.
The beach offers the most spectacular seaside sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean and no two sunsets look the same.

Unspoiled beach 40km. Whale watching from the dunes. You will find numerous breeding pairs of the endangered Black Oyster Catchers ("Swart Tobie") on the beach. Crayfish diving/fishing at Elands Bay. Best left hand surf break for surfers at Elands Bay. Bird watching at the neighbouring Rocher Pans bird sanctuary is a popular activity. Enjoy the most spectacular West Coast sunsets from the beach.

Great peaceful spot, great to have two other couples who are mates, join us taking up the three tents, apart from some very cold weather and some rain a few great days - Rashied excellent in his service and following up.

Absolutely stunning place. The tent and facilities were first class and we were very comfortable. The Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The sunset was amazing. It is isolated so privacy is perfect and driving a 4x4 on the beach sand is a cool experience.
Perfect combination of solitude by the Atlantic Ocean combined with friendly hospitality. We watched the sunrise and the sunset, braaied, and walked the beach. The misty mornings were atmospheric for us Jo'burgers, and the birding even from the tent stoep was great.
A paradise for introverts, with the Atlantic surf the noisiest thing around!
A very different and wonderful experience. The tent was comfortable and clean and well appointed. The proximity of the wonderful beach is fantastic.
What a peaceful and tranquil setting to just relax and wind down. No cellphone reception or TV. Idyllic to just relax, sit back, read a book, play cards and have a lekker braai. Fabulous!
