Lovely setting ,central but traffic and loud music can be disturbing at night The cottage is spacious and comfortable But issues were no soap, dispenser with a hand soap empty and no ice trays in fridge Breakfast how ever needs attention One person cant cope with influx of guests. Limited space in dining room causing waiting and when seated no cups forks etc as has not been replaced. Should recommend at least a cook and waiter and not just one person on its own trying to cope.

Grahamstown Reviews

The Old buildings, the stunning churches and Cathedral, the history and the National Arts Festial.
The roads are full of potholes, everything closes very early during the weekend.
During fest, the Long table is a very good place for dinner!

Grahamstown is a lovely town but the terrible potholes and lack of water in town is a huge problem for visitors and residents alike. My sons are students at Rhodes University and struggle immensely with the bad water supply and as they call it "water shedding" as they sometimes go up to three days days at a time without water

Beautiful old buildings to visit! The terrible streets full of potholes make this 5 star town unfortunately a 3 star place!
