Whispering Pines, situated on the Confac Country Estate, has two self catering units and one free standing s/c cottage. It has a large, park-like garden with uninterrupted mountain views, and is a mere 4 kilometers from George central and within a 3 to 5 minute range from the Garden Route Mall, Eden Meander and the Nelson Mandela University (Saasveld Campus). Peace and tranquility associated with country living awaits you here.

The entire premises, including parking area, is electronically secured - guests receive keypad code on arrival.

Mountain View Suite

Has a separate private entrance. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge / dining room area with an adjoining patio leading into the garden. Depending on requirements, one bedroom (Classic Suite) or two bedrooms (plus adjoining African Suite) are available in this unit. Portable braai on the patio. An additional fifth person can be accommodated on a single bed in the small lounge area adjoining the African Suite.

The Loft (smaller open plan upstairs unit)

Has a smallish circular layout, 5 meters in diameter, also with private entrance, and own sizeable wooden deck with stunning mountain and forest views. The Loft has a double bed, the en-suite bathroom has a shower only and the kitchenette is compact but fully equipped. Braai area close by. This unit can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults.

Forest Cottage

The open plan lounge-kitchenette is 4x6 meters with TV. The bedroom has a double bed and 2nd TV. There is a mezzanine space (small, above lounge), accessed by comfortable ladder, with a double bed and 3rd TV. The en-suite bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle. Couch in lounge is a 2-sleeper. Built-in mini electronic safe. Protected (netting) parking next to cottage. It has a spacious wooden deck built around a huge pine tree. Portable braai for deck or garden use. All linen (beach towels included) and cutlery supplied. Serviced on a daily basis.

Unfortunately we do not accommodate small children because of safety precautions - we have several unprotected water hazards on the premises

Lights and televisions are on solar powered batteries and/or generator - no blackouts.
