Guided by a Gibb's Farm naturalist & rangers from Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Farm to Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walking Safari is an amazing way to reach the Crater or hike to the magnificent waterfall and incredible ''elephant caves''. If you're not feeling up to walking, we also offer driving day safari's to Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Eyasi.

The bright, airy dining rooms are a delightful way to begin and end each day. The rustic style of the farmhouse has been replicated throughout the dining rooms, which feature exposed trusses, adzed beams, wooden ceilings, iron work and old stone fireplaces.
The Chef and culinary team are renowned for creating rich, earth-friendly menus, utilising fresh, local and seasonal foods whenever possible. Our organic farm-to-table cuisine stimulates the senses and provides sustenance to restore, replenish and energise. Garden grown organic vegetables and locally raised meats, farm-fresh milk, cream and baked goods provide the healthy, nutritious ingredients for our sumptuous breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
During your stay you will often hear the Swahili word “karibu,” expressing the genuine, innate pleasure we take in welcoming our guests—an attribute at the heart of our hospitality.

This leisurely two-hour walk around our neighbouring village of Tloma provides a personal look at Tanzanian village life. You will discover the true essence and traditions of rural East African village life.
* Farm to Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walk.
A hearty hike leads you to the rim.
Guided by a Gibb’s Farm naturalist and rangers from Ngorongoro Conservation Area, this exciting 6-7 hour wilderness walk takes you to awe-inspiring, untouched forests where you will encounter unique plant life, animals and rare birds. Starting at Gibb’s Farm, you hike to the Ngorongoro Forest and ascend the slopes to the crater rim with magnificent views of the crater floor below. Walk availability is subject to track and weather conditions.

Experience a one day wildlife safari, starting early in the morning in closed safari vehicles with pop-up roofs. Lunch is served picnic style, surrounded by the natural wonders around you as well as the exceptional wildlife, roaming freely, with which you share these extraordinary paradises.
