Fantastic stay with wonderful hosts.
Excellent!
What a lovely place to stay at! Close to the beach, and easy drives to other beaches. This house is one of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed at. There is nothing that has not been thought of. The house and garden is beautiful, the pool is a delight, and in the kitchen you will never want for anything. A great deal of thought has gone into equipping the house, which made our stay very pleasant. Truly a 5-star experience. Thank you to our hosts for a superb stay, we will be back for longer next time. Our fur kids also thank you for having them, and because the living area is to large, we could put their beds in there and they could be with us all the time. VERY highly recommended.
Great house to stay in...spacious, very well equipped and brilliant pool area. Hosts and staff were kind and helpful. Short walk to beach and local shops. Getting around locally via Uber was easy.
The Good
The place is very clean. Rooms are spacious. It has just about everything you will need, from a box freezer to a capsule coffee machine. Forgot to pack a water bowl for the dog? It's there. Need some shaving cream and a razor? It's waiting for you in the bathroom. Too hot? Don't worry there's aircon in the main bedroom and the lounge.
The Bad
I will be hard pressed to find something bad to say about our stay. The loadshedding was annoying but I can hardly blame Ruby Sands for that.
The Awesome
Lyndie spoiled us every day with some yummy goodies! From pancakes, sausage rolls, scones with jam to heavenly cupcakes. Ruby Sands might be a 3 star establishment but you will be receiving 5 star service all the way.
Our vacation was awesome and we will definitely be returning again. Thank you Lyndie for all your trouble and for making our stay so memorable.
Absolute blissful experience. The owners are such lovely, warm and friendly people and you can see that it rubs off on their friendly, competent staff. This was genuinely a treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our dream is to return one day as a family, hopefully not in too distant future. I would really advise your place to anyone.

Ruby Sands het net mooi alles, mooi uitsig, goeie ligging vir stap, see en winkels en is uitstekend toegerus. Die eienaars en staf was baie behulpsaam - en met vars gebak elke dag! Die huis is silwerskoon, die swembad lekker groot, die braai-areas en die stoep is ruim - ons wou nie huis toe gaan nie. Hoogs aanbeveel.
Lyndie’s hospitality was amazing. She was so kind and thoughtful, providing us with a meal on arrival as it was dark and sending us freshly made breakfast treats every day.
Lieflike plek! Ons is daagliks bederf met die lekkerste eetgoedjies. Lekker naby aan die strand en restaurante. Dis lekker om by jou vakansiebestemming te kom en alles is nòg mooier as wat jy verwag! Ruby Sands is beslis aan te beveel!

Near the beach good environment
Unforgettable.
The apartment is perfectly located. It is clean, neat, modern and has everything you could need and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again soon. The host was very friendly and helpful. It was an absolute treat to stay here.

I loved the Ballito Lifestyle Market with its relaxed holiday vibe. Ballito is a short drive from Durban making it easily accessible for an impromptu weekend away.
