Located at 72 Donkin street, Graaff-Reinet, Langhuis is one of the many surviving green-shuttered, whitewashed houses that give the town of Graaff-Reinet its homogenous character.

In Room Facilities:

Originally 3 separate houses, Langhuis has been combined into one. The spacious rooms, open plan kitchen and modern yet rustic furnishings make Langhuis unique to the area.

The Living room area opens onto an unexpected expansive garden filled with fruit trees and a 14m pool surrounded by day beds with an unimpeded view of the famous Spandau Kop.

Area Information:

The context for Graaff-Reinet and for the Langhuis is extraordinary: the protective dolorite pinnacles that rise above it to the south-west, as well as the river bordering its edge, have protected it from development which is why, for the most part, this Eastern Cape town is famously so well preserved.

Property Facilities:

DSTV, Gas stove & electric oven, Fridge (260L) & freezer (200L), Built in briaa on the verandah, 14m swimming pool, Dishwasher, Microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and Limited WIFI.

Attractions:

Langhuis's convenient location makes it the perfect stopover or base to explore the iconic Graaff-Reinet town.
