We stayed at Design Apartment for four nights at the beginning of September 2018. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything anyone could require. All of the appliances and furnishings are of the highest quality - I made a note of the make and model of the washer/dryer because I was so impressed with it!! Location wise it is perfect. Many, many restaurants within a few minutes walk and only 15 minutes walk to the V&A waterfront, we're in our mid 70's so younger people could do it even quicker.
Only two negative points that I would make. We arrived just as a cold front swept into Cape Town and it was really cold. The apartment does have a fan heater but because of the large open space the lounge area just didn't warm up. We sat wearing layers of clothes and a jacket. The other point we would make is that there wasn't any drawer space in the bedroom for underwear, just one decent size drawer would have been a help.
If we visit in the future at a warmer time of year we would definitely be happy to stay here again.
Brilliant Location - you can walk everywhere, or take Mycity or Über. Luxury 57 sqm apartment with 1 bedroom [queen size bed], bathroom with shower, lounge, kitchen and 9 sqm terrace. Maximum occupants 2 persons.
