On the Ridge is excellently situated. Nearby is not only the Rietvlei Bird Sanctuary, but also a number of popular beaches, such as the Silwerstroomstrand.

Travel in just about any direction and you will encounter something exciting and different. Whether you want to visit Durbanville Winelands(20 mins) and all that it has to offer, or enjoy some retail therapy at Century City Shopping Complex (10 mins), or treat the kids to a exhilarating experience at Africa's largest theme park Ratanga Junction (10 mins). If golf is your calling, in only 5 minutes, you could be on the Milnerton Golf course. And if the City centre and the V&A Waterfront is your destination, it is only 15 minutes away.
