Accommodation is offered in comfortable self-catering chalets, luxury rooms as well as our 3 bedroom guesthouse, accommodating 26 Adults and 8 children. (Kindly note that the double beds can not be made into 2 twin beds) To ensure your privacy each chalet has its own deck, splash pool and braai area. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of every-day life, you’ve just found it.

Please note that the property is situated in a Malaria area and the property suggests that you consult with your closest pharmacist prior to your arrival should this be a concern.

We do have a communal outdoor pool which overlooks the bushveld.

Area Information:
The region border two countries and is considered to be one of the most fertile regions in the whole of South Africa. It’s also unique in that you could conceivably have breakfast in South Africa, lunch in Swaziland and dinner in Mozambique, all while leisurely taking in the numerous tourism attractions that the area has to offer. The Wild Frontier is referred to as the cradle of life, owing to the archaeological discoveries dating back more than three billion years. Evidence abounds in the imposing Mkonjwa mountains, which is said to be one of the oldest in the world.

In Room Facilities:
Features include a fully fitted self-catering kitchenette, microwave, Fridge, counter top oven/stove combo, toaster & electric kettle. All 11 units are equipped with air-conditioning. Self-catering chalets each have their own private splash pool and our luxury & deluxe lodge rooms share a communal outdoor pool which overlooks the bushveld. Relax and enjoy your stay in a space designed to feel just like home.

Attractions:
Royale Marlothi Safari Lodge lies in the heart of the bush in Marloth Park, which is home to animals including giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, impala, wildebeest, which roam freely around the lodge and surrounding areas. Guests are often thrilled with unbelievably close and personal encounters! For the avid birdwatcher, abundant species and wide variety of Bushveld Birds are spotted from the comfort of one’s own verandah. Most commonly seen are Hornbills, Starlings, Boubou’s, Shrikes and Woodpeckers to name but a few. The tranquil atmosphere at the Lodge allows for unique birding opportunities as man slows down, finding the rhythm of nature and begins to truly observe.

With the absence of artificial light, the stargazing at Royale Marlothi Safari Lodge is phenomenal and amongst the best in Southern Africa. The fact that it is so close to the Kruger National Park and even full of wild life itself. If you do not feel like going into the Kruger you can still experience quite a number of wild life. The shops, petrol station and restaurants provide ample opportunity to do the necessary purchases.
