Bleshoener is a spacious and private four bedroom home located on the edge of picturesque Swartvlei lake in the heart of the Garden Route National Park. The house is set among an old pine forest and looks out over the lake and gardens. Just 30 minutes drive from George Airport and the tourist town of Knysna, Bleshoener is ideally situated for visiting the many sights and attractions of the Garden Route.
Each of the four bedrooms look out over the lake and pool and have incredible views. The upstairs rooms have private balconies and downstairs there are decks leading onto the lawn and pool area. There is an upstairs pajama lounge that opens onto a large central balcony. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower.

Sandwiched between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean the Garden Route is a stretch of coastline known for its mild climate and diverse vegetation and wildlife. The area has many amazing lakes, lagoons and beaches and offers a great variety of activities to any traveler. Swartvlei lake, where we are located, is a haven for watersports including wakeboarding, skiing, fishing and kayaking; all of which can be arranged on site for guests. The lake and garden provide a great opportunity to see some of the areas 300 different bird species.
With the area's unique mix of temperate forest, wetlands and fynbos there are numerous hikes and trails as well as opportunities for mountain biking and horse riding. During the summer months the area is very popular with paragliders.
Within 30 minutes drive there are some of South Africa's finest golf courses including Fancourt, Pezula, and Simola to name but a few. The tourist towns of Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are all within an hour's drive.
