Academia is a quite, family suburb. You will be able to enjoy morning or afternoon walks, there is a supermarket within walking distance. You can get to 3 large malls within 10 min drive, CBD is also about 5min drive. We are located close to the University, the golf course is also close by. We are about 5 min drive from Eros airport... The neighborhood is quite & and very family orientated.
Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, is located in a basin between the Khomas Highland, Auas and Eros Mountains. It is 1,680m above sea level, 650km north of the Orange River and 360km from the Atlantic seaboard. Whether due to pure luck or a brilliant stroke of Germanic planning, the city is situated in almost the countries epicenter. This location has obvious benefits when it comes to governing a country the size of Namibia, and also makes it the ideal place to start and plan any Namibian travel.

Lovely place to stay, quite clean, and priced excellently. Bathroom down the hall that could accommodate more than one at a time, but doesn’t have separate locks. I can’t say the showers were great, but it was clean and in working order. Towels provided. Very comfortable beds, super soft sheets and blankets. Service was excellent and friendly.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom are a decent size. The bed was big and comfortable. There is a small sitting are in from the the building and it was easy to find a spot in a shade. Transfers into city centre and to the airport can be arranged in the reception and the pricing is reasonable.
It was a great experience, Angela is a very sympathetic and professional person. The place is very nice and cozy, with a lot of small but well placed details. We eat there, tasty and delicious breakfast and dinner, all made with love, felted like home... Thanks
