Wonderful self catering, spacious and modern place to stay in the heart of the wine lands. It gives you all you need, close to wine farms. You need a car and must bring coffee etc. but the room, bathroom, views and security is great! Pool and braai facilities, only 5 rooms!
This was our last stop in SA and the perfect place to unwind by the lovely pool. We were looking for some peace & quiet and definitely found it here. It did felt more European than Afrikaans. For us, this was a very luxe room, with a king size bed, huge shower, complete kitchen and the views... WoW! Belia and Anel were very kind. Also, we appreciated the bottles of their famous ladybird wine that comes with the room :-).
When I'm on a business trip I prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle. The ideal place must have all the amenities, luxury finishes and a quiet environment, where I can relax and catch up with some work. This is what I've experienced at Laibach Vinyard Lodge.
Just perfect self catering lodge about 5 miles north of Stellenbsoch. Facilities in lodge outstanding and the price represented tremendous value for money. The lodges have a lot of repeat business, so book ahead if you want to secure one during peak season.
Although it's a small wine yard, they do wine tasting! Staff is really nice and attentive and gives good explanations. But the best part is that they produce organic wine. They also offer accommodation, so next time I might also stay there.
