Perched high above the quaint town of Wilderness, amongst untouched mountain greenery and boasting breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and gorgeous beaches. Wooden decks offer sunset views while sipping a cold glass of wine. The area is rich in wild life, and with such a tranquil setting the only neighbours you need worry about are the huge variety of beautiful birds.
As part of the famous Garden Route, Wilderness is in close proximity to some of the country's top golf courses, including Fancourt, Pinnacle Point, Oubaai, Simola and Pezula. Nearby towns are Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, George and Oudtshoorn.

A beautiful place to stay! The views from each unit are incredible! Admirals Cottage is the best overall. We saw dolphins every morning whilst enjoying coffee on the balcony. A comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. The only fault was no hot water, there seemed to be an issue with our unit's geyser, but Jeanette made sure to resolve the issue promptly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting the best ocean views of the Wilderness!

Wilderness is one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. There is the ocean with beautiful, quiet beaches, Forrest and river.

Wilderness offers a wide variety of activities for all ages with an abundance of hiking trails, canoe offerings and paragliding available, whilst being surrounded by some of the most pristine beaches our country has to offer. If you love nature and adventure, Wilderness is your playground. For daytrips, you have the option of visiting neighbouring areas including George, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg. This is definitely a home away from home.
