On approaching the lodge on a wining two track road you get a feeling of "Old Africa" as you see a thatched roof lodge draped with white curtains you know you're in the right place. A place thats conscious about Luxury Safari Experiences.
Welcome to Tusk Bush Lodge - Kruger National Park a #TravelersChoice TripAdvisor Award winning bush lodge located in Marloth Park, a nature reserve bordering the Kruger National Park, and only km17 from Crocodile Bridge Gate and walking distance to the Krugers Southern border fence where you can go for a walk and sometimes spot the big 5 through the fence across the river in the Kruger.
This self-catering braai (bbq) boutique guest lodge comprises of three spacious bungalows that sleeps a max of 6 adults, and comes standard with king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, a separate fully equiped dinning area, a kitchenette equiped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger, coffee & tea & stocked with your Continental Breakfast for your stay. Each bungalow has its own private fire pit and gas bbq to enjoy a traditional South African braai under the stars.
The lodge also offers guests a stunning outdoor communal area with a cosy lounge, and a outdoor swimming pool. While other conveniences include Free Wi-Fi Internet access and free parking on the premises with 24 hour security.
Marloth Park has numerous great attractions in and around the area for guests to explore, such as the Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon the Leopard Creek Golf Estate in Malelane, Tiger fishing, on the Komati River, Elephant interactions and easy access to Swaziland and Hlane National Park, or just stay at the lodge relax and photograph the wildlife that visit TBL on an daily basis that includes Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Kudu, Impala, Duiker, Warthog, Ostrich, and our resident Cerval and Bush Babies at night.

In Room Facilities:The lodge offers accommodation in four separate thatched roof private safari bungalows, each equipped with air conditioning, en suite bathroom and is setup for self-catering with a gas bbq and a fire pit for a traditional South African braai each has a kitchenette that includes a small refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, and comes stocked with your Continental Breakfast - muffins, bread, butter, jam, cheese, yogurt, milk, juice, water, tea and coffee for your stay so that you can enjoy breakfast when ever you want to. Each bungalow has a private deck to enjoy a sundowner or morning coffee before game drives and a lodge pool to cool off in those hot summer months. Rhino bungalow is a lot bigger and offers private parking and a private pool with local Open View TV channels. Tusk Bush Lodge also has a one thatched roof safari tent for the more adventures traveler who want to truly experience the bush in TBL glamping style.
Area Information:Tusk Bush Lodge is perfectly situated in Marloth Park, on the bank of the Crocodile River which is also the southern border between the Kruger and Marloth Park and is located only 600m from Marloth Park Gate 2 which is the closest gate to the Kruger National Park.

TUSK BUSH LODGE is a diamond in the rough. We were blown away by Wayne and Douglas’s hospitality. If you want to go somewhere for an experience, this is the place to do that. There was so much attention to detail which just made our stay THAT much better.
The chalets are self catering units, which are very tastefully decorated. The units have everything you need but if anything is additionally required the TBL team will go out of their way to make sure you are fully equipped with everything you need to stay comfortably.
The close encounters we had with the wildlife, were unlike anything we’d ever experienced before. Warthog running through the camp, zebra walking past our chalet, bush babies jumping in the trees around us whilst sitting around a bonfire and hearing lions roaring at night from Kruger.
Thank-you so much TBL for making my 30th, one to remember. We will definitely be back for another getaway and recommend you to our friends and family.

Tusk Bush Lodge is a gem of place to stay to experience Kruger! It's the perfect mix of comfort and design plus total immersion in nature as you're in the Marloth Park nature reserve. We saw zebra on our drive to the lodge, woke up to a herd of impala outside our door, came home to a bush baby on our roof and had breakfast next to wildebeest and warthogs - it was amazing! The location in Marloth is perfect for visiting Kruger as you're only 15 minutes from one of the best gates. The lovely manager, Pretty, also took very good care of us and was very flexible in setting up a safari (Chasin' Africa - highly recommended!) and cooking us dinner on short notice. Also, we loved the personal touch of welcoming us with champagne as it was our honeymoon! Thanks, Tusk Bush Lodge! We hope to come back and will definitely be recommending this to our friends!
Beautiful location in Marloth Park and really near the Crocodile Bridge Kruger gate. Nice and spacious room. Giraffes and kudus walking around the property. Pretty made a lovely breakfast and dinner.

Everything was perfect! The lodge is good for a relax vacation. Is really near to Kruger Park, just 10 min driving.
Our lodge was great decorated, really comfortable and we had nice quite location.
Everything was clean and brand new!!
We stay at nights in the lodge having dinner and was awesome!!! The food was quite good and the service better. Then we spend some time near to the fire.
In the noon we can see the animals arriving to our lodge and near to us!! That is amazing experience.
Obviously we gonna repeat the experience! 100% recommended!

Amazing position in the bush with animals like warthogs, kudu, and impala roaming free. Feels secure and is very peaceful. Comfortable rooms and attentive staff. The manager, Pretty, does a great job including cooking for us on two evenings.
15m drive of crocodile bridge. Amazing staff and owners, they'll take care of any request you'll ever have. Beautiful location with wildebeest/zebra/giraffe joining your BBQ.
Beautifully decorated spacious room with super comfortable bed. Great location as the lodge is only 15 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge Gate into Kruger. Contrary to some other reviews, we found the road to the lodge fine to drive on with a small car, just go slowly. Owner is fantastic, very knowledgeable and passionate about his lodge, we were very happy to meet him on our last day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean, well kept facilities. The peace and quiet of the undisturbed nature all around. The warm pool, with the option of a small private pool next to your room...
Wildlife in your own garden is just magical!

I love the closeness to wildlife and the Krugerpark. You dont need to even get in your car and drive to see any animals, zebra, antelope, bushbuck and warthogs visited every day at the house. Just to sit on the stoep with a fire and watch the animals is truely amazing. Everything you need is right there, shops, butchery, place to eat, its just so convenient. I love Marloth!!
