Welcome to River Goose Campsite.
Lovely grassed and shaded camp sites on the banks of the Breede River.NO ELECTRICITY AT THE CAMPSITE.Ice and wood is sold at the campsite.
Only bass boats or canoes may launch here, it is strictly catch and release.
The Goose River Boat operates seven days a week depending on weather and river conditions, trips must be booked in advance as we are not on a tourist route.
The Goose can take up to 16 adults at any one time, in summer we do stop for swimming in the river. We also carry fishing rods for those interested or they may bring their own. We do not supply drinks or eats, customers should bring their own.

The stay was wonderful.
The sites are large and shady. Ablutions cleaned everyday, beautiful campsite.
What an amazing experience. Kelvin & his students were incredible hosts. All the sites are beautifully maintained. So very peaceful. Thank You for a wonderful long weekend!!
Despite our reluctance to camp without electricity we did not even miss it. Enjoyed the stay enormously and loved the owner and girls warm and welcoming attitudes. Marelise is an absolute gem.
We will be back and feel comfortable to recommend River Goose to friends and family.

The nature and views are incredible.
I liked the scenic Tradouw Pass, visited the waterfall, and Die Drupkelder cave.
We had lunch at Diesel & Creme. Very impressed with their food once again.
We also visited Ronnies Sex Shop. Nice novelty pub to visit.
The mountains, nostalgia, cheese and wine...Van Loveren the best!
We enjoyed lunch at Viljoensdrift and Catharinas and also having dinner on the private patio watching the sun set over the mountains. The King size bed was super comfortable and the large fenced garden made it very private for us and our scotty dogs.
