Guests to Tuli Game Reserve have the option of enjoying a dinner out in the bush where they are driven to a site lit by sparkling lamps the first impression on arrival casts an unforgettable memory of Africa. Diners enjoy delectable cuisine prepared on the open coals of a bush fire to the accompaniment of thrilling night sounds. Please note, this activity is subject to the seasonal influences.
Cultural Village Tour:
Guests have the option of visiting Mothlabaneng Village, and travelling on an open game viewer through the rural community. They will visit the Kgotla (a local tribal court) a school, a Lala Palm wine maker (Local wine) and end up under the cliffs on the bank of the Motloutsi River for a picnic lunch, surrounded by exquisite bushman paintings.
An entirely different way of appreciating the bush is on foot. During summer months, walks are conducted early morning, and in winter after breakfast . The highly skilled ranger is a font of information, and is able to talk on a variety of subjects ranging from the medicinal uses of certain plants; interesting facts on the fauna and flora of the area and archaeology dating back to the Stone Age.
Guests can be taken on morning and evening drives in open Game Viewers. Head out into the wilds of the Tuli Game Reserve, and discover a region of exciting animal life, magnificent plant life and panoramic views guaranteed to take your breath away.

Tour de Tuli:
The Nedbank Tour de Tuli is one of South Africa's finest mountain biking extravaganzas which takes place in Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa. This event happens over 5 days. It's an extensive fundraiser since 2005 for Children in the Wilderness. Cyclists seize the opportunity of cycling in fascinating remote areas which are not normally usable to the accustomed public. Children in the Wilderness is a life skills and environmental leadership program aimed at rural children living alongside wilderness areas. This is a tour allowing cyclists to enjoy every moment of Africa's charisma and cannot be described as a race.
The cycling and overall experience for all involved is unbelievable. The event offers game viewing opportunities, cultural interaction, supporting local communities, Mapungubwe National Park, the enchantment of informal border crossings, the sandstone ridges, the baobabs, crossing the Limpopo River and the framework overlooking the assemblage at the end of the event, EXTRAORDINARY.
Awareness established by the comprehensive media broadcasting caused by this cycle tour. Funds raised through this tour helps with the durability of the Children in the Wilderness program. Hosting more Eco-Clubs, children's camps and quality staff training is the aim of the game.

Butterflies in their own natural habitat and surroundings can be one of the most delightful hobbies for nature lovers and has grown in popularity during recent years. What nature lover fails to be ecstatic by butterflies - the depth and diversity of their colours, their elegant beauty and alluring life cycles?
Tuli Game Reserve offers an excellent range of dedicated butterflies. Butterfly watching enthusiasts can observe 75 marvelous butterfly species in the Tuli block, this makes our Game Reserve the place with the widest variety of butterfly species in and around Botswana.
The butterflies are not kept in an enclosed environment enabling our guests to experience them in their natural habitat.

Tuli Game Reserve is known as the birding paradise of Botswana. We brag with a diversity of 350 bird species. Great numbers of water birds and seed eating birds can be seen at our water holes and river structures.
Bird watching can be done with the naked eyes, through a visual enhancement like binoculars and telescopes , or by listening for the sounds of birds. The variety of birds at Tuli will satisfy the need of any Birder.
Tuli bird sightings include: Jacana, Ibis, Moorhen, Nightjar, Owl, Eagl etc.
