We offer guests spacious chalet-style self-catering cottages at Phillipskop Mountain Reserve, just outside Stanford and less than 30 minutes drive from Hermanus. The cottages are situated amongst the fynbos-covered slopes of the Klein River Mountains, with wonderful views over the Overberg towards the Akkedisberg.
Please note that we do not do Sunday check-ins. Please do not start your booking on a Sunday. Exceptions may be made for stays of 4 or more days.
Three hiking trails have been built suitable for varying abilities and ages. Along the trails you can discover a small waterfall, a picnic tree, great for climbing, fascinating rock features such as the David and Goliath Rock Stacks, and most importantly Phillipskop Cave. The cave is a local heritage site of high significance due to the presence of Khoe-San rock art, the only recorded rock art on the Cape Whale Coast. There is also a jungle gym for children.
