Lady Africa Bush Lodge is the romantic getaway for couples, those who want to recharge or if you are planning a birthday or bachelorettes. Our lodge located in the Sterkrivier Valley between the beautiful Waterberg Mountain Range. We offer various hiking trails, and feel free to bring your mountain bike with for a relaxing ride in the bush. Lady Africa has a beautiful riverfront, various types of game and sunsets that one can only find in the beautiful Limpopo Province. Come pay us a visit, and reward yourself.

For an experience that’s closer to nature and authentically African, Lady Africa Bush Lodge offers guests the opportunity to sleep in one of permanent tents secluded and with panoramic bush views, sleeping under canvas is an evocative experience.

Relaxing on the private veranda gives a sense of a closer connection with nature and the magnificent surrounding environment.

Lady Africa consists of 3 tent types.
The Bush Tents [8 tents], the Safari Tents [4 tents] and the Honeymoon Suite - our flagship tent of which there is only one.

The HONEYMOON SUITE and the SAFARI TENTS are our most private tents with fully equipped kitchens and private ablution facilities for each tent. These tents also have their own private pool per tent. The BUSH TENTS also have their own private ablution and smal kitchenette.

All tents have proper double beds in and all linen and kitchenware are provided. Just bring your own swimming towels. We are a self-catering lodge. WE DO NOT ALLOW MUSIC OR LOUD NOISES OF ANY KIND. OFFENDERS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.

All double beds with white cotton linen. All tents have electricity and 2 point plugs. Kitchens where applicable has dishwashing soap, all utensils, pots, pans etc.

Deep within the pristine splendour of the Waterberg Area, nestled within the lush South African province of Limpopo, is the suburb of Sterkrivier.

Thanks to its ideal location, Sterkrivier offers visitors a number of nearby attractions and activities. It is close to the Doorndraai Dam Nature Reserve, which invites families and friends to sit on its banks and try their hand at fishing. There are also a number of trails in the immediate area, making for the perfect escapes for those who want to appreciate the local beauty at a comfortable pace while breathing in the clean, fresh air. The bird watching opportunities are plentiful and most rewarding.

Sterkrivier is known for its warm, sunny conditions almost all year round. In summer, thunderstorms cool and refresh the afternoons. Winters can become cool, but are temperate and comfortable. This is typical of Limpopo, making it a convenient destination at almost any time of year.
