Brown's Cabin and Cottages are situated on a pecan nut smallholding in Scheerpoort, situated in the North West region of South Africa. Fifteen Minutes away from Hartbeespoort Dam, this area is sought after for weekend getaways for those treasured moments of tranquility and relaxation.
Accommodation is offered in self-catering units with uninterrupted views of the Magaliesberg mountain range. The accommodation is ideal for guests attending one of the many weddings which take place in popular venues located nearby (Red Ivory, Greenleaves, Leopard Lodge, The Nut Farm and The Barn at Redstone). Accommodation is offered in Brown’s Cabin, Brown’s Cottage, Aloe Suite, De Wets Cottage and Pecan Cottage. Please note that the Aloe Suite does not have self-catering facilities.

Pleasant cottage - close to our wedding venue. Ideal for a night's stop over.
Great cozy cabin with all the necessities at hand. No TV but who really needs it when all you want is to simply soak up the country atmosphere with the Harties mountain range in view. Great security; excellent for solo/business travelers!
I could feel the warmth and friendliness by just talking to them on the phone, unfortunately for me the bookings for month end were full but definitely one day will book there for accommodation.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and the view from the bathroom was breathtaking. Sorry we only stayed one night. Beautiful surroundings.
We had an amazing stay at Browns. The cottage is cozy and clean. Everything you need! We stayed in the De Wets Cottage. Robin is amazing. She went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. It is a lovely relaxing, tranquil place. We will visit again ! Highly recommended !!

Lots to do. Spoilt for choice!
It has a beautiful scenery! So lovely to drive in the area.
The surrounding are absolutely beautiful and there is so much to do in the area.
