In spite of being situated 3km from the Pietermaritzburg City Hall and conveniently situated to the shopping, business and restaurant hub and the N3, Lexden is undisturbed and tranquil.
The guesthouse has been skilfully incorporated into the property forming a section of the original dwelling comprising of 7 Luxury rooms.

Our full English breakfast is served from 06:45 on weekdays and from 08:15 on weekends and public holidays.
Breakfast is served until at 9.30 am on weekends.

The conversion of the Lexden farmhouse into a modern guest establishment has been undertaken in sympathy with the original architectural design, and over the past 10 years has provided luxury accommodation to many national and international visitors to Pietermaritzburg. Lexden Guesthouse opened its doors in May 2009 to its first Comrades Marathon guests.
