Cuckoo Ridge Country Retreat consists of five chalets, each unique with its own character. The first is closer to the main building yet still private. A small lounge area has sliding doors that will take the guest to a covered deck with magical, breathtaking views, ideal for a quiet moment enjoying a sundowner. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a spacious bath and shower.
The Log Cabin is a short walk from the main house through our beautiful gardens. This raised "Log Cabin" style chalet has a large lounge that opens onto a wooden deck with spectacular views.
Each chalet contains tea- and coffee-making facilities, bathrobes, hairdryer, heating, free Wi-Fi, as well as air-conditioning, and other luxuries for convenience; two of the chalets contain a kitchen for self-catering.

Part of the Lowveld, we are close to the Kruger National Park, The Panorama Route and various sporting activities.
Hazyview is the ideal adventure destination. Get your adrenaline rush from a number of activities, including abseiling, gecko river tubing, quad biking, and river rafting. Skyway Trails offers an exhilarating aerial cable trail and treetop challenge. The cable trail is essentially a massive zipline that runs from platform to platform high above the forest floor, while the elevated obstacle course is made up of 19 exciting elements, from balancing beams, to rope bridges.
If you prefer more leisurely activities, you can enjoy horse rides, hot air ballooning, hiking, and mountain biking, or plan a guided tour of the Shangana Cultural Village. There are 3 golf courses within a 5km range of the town centre where golfers can tee off with excellent facilities and greens.
Animal lovers can enjoy elephant interactions at Elephant Whispers or the Elephant Sanctuary Hazyview, which offer a range of experiences such as elephant back rides, hand-in-trunk walks, and feedings. Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park is fantastic for the whole family with all sorts of reptilian species on offer, from snakes and lizards, to spiders and crocodiles.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Cuckoo Ridge Guest Farm. The host, Ursula, is graceful and ensured that we had an amazing trip. The room was also really lovely and the kitchen was a treat to use. The nature that surrounds the property is beautiful.
The place is very nice and we had a great time. The hostess was very friendly and very helpful we were able to visit other places as she did arrange a shuttle which will take us to those places. Keep up the good work and may God bless you
Our cottage was very comfortable with everything one would want. Loved the porch with the restful view.
Our hostess, Lize, was very attentive, but not intrusive. Requests were dealt with promptly and without a fuss. Service staff were thorough and honest! Would return should we visit that beautiful part of the world again.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay at Cuckoo Ridge. The room was lovely and spacious with a big bathroom, comfy and cozy bed. The hosts were welcoming and the breakfasts well worth it. The property is private, peaceful and serene.
