Was an amazing stay, cottage was homely and welcoming. The entire setting of the cottage was phenomenal. We also got to enjoy the company of the owners dogs :)
My partner and I had an amazing weekend getaway @ Rondegat...so much so that it was difficult to leave. Fell in love with the serenity and over all feel of the place, not forgetting Rambo and Willis who gave us a personal tour of the property. The chalet was equipped with everything you need and a highlight was definitely taking the canoe out on Clanwilliam Dam. Anne Marie and Charl were very welcoming and ready to assist. Thank you for a lovely weekend, will definitely be back soon!
Very nice get away from the busy life of the city. Family time at its best
We had a great time at Rondegat. The cottage was clean and had most of what we needed.
Overall it was a great holiday though and we would visit again
Rondegat is a very nice relaxing place to break away from your every day busy-pacing lifestyle.
Nature clean and very safe for walks, swimming and late-night outside sitting.
Booking via Afristay= excellent service. Thank you Afristay.
Beautiful , peacefully and quiet, with nature in its fullest glory! Complimented by the picturest dam, and the kindest hosts. We enjoyed every bit of our stay at Rondegat.
Thanks, Neil
Superb. City dwellers who are looking for a getaway, this would be the GoTo place.
Beautiful view, facilities adequate. Rooms tidy and clean. Annmarie very helpful.
Absolutely beautiful!
We enjoyed our two nights in the Lakeview House tremendously - loved the swimming pool on the deck and enjoyed using the canoes on the dam. Will definitely be back!

Lovely mall!
Close to the Cedarberg, nice town with all amenities. The dam is beautiful when it's full.
Wine tasting.
Enjoyed the Cederberg experience.
Quaint little town with easy access.
Warm weather in Clanwilliam.
Magnificent vistas overlooking the Dam and also the Cedarberg Mountains.
We enjoyed the sunset over the dam.
The gravel roads were mostly in a fairly good condition.
