There is a conference room situated in the garden, which can accommodate up to 12 people seated.

Area Information:
Watercolours offers you a ringside seat to watch the endless cavalcade of sea, bird and animal life. Whales, dolphins, seals and the odd sea otter pass by the house regularly. The world famous Boulders Beach penguin colony is within walking distance. The equally famous Cape Point Nature Reserve is just 7 km down the road.

In Room Facilities:
Watercolours promises a combination of superior position and a level of luxury comparable with the very best of establishments world-wide. All rooms have satellite TV, fridges and tea and coffee making facilities.

Attractions:
On the road to the Cape Point Nature Reserve and within walking distance of Seaforth, Boulders and Fisherman's beaches, Watercolours has on its doorstep, facilities for hiking, golfing, cycling, swimming, kayaking, sailing, fishing, deep sea diving & snorkelling.

Boat trips to Cape Point & Seal Island can be embarked upon from Simon's Town harbour. And for the not so faint hearted, there is the opportunity to cage dive with great white sharks.

Simon's Town, with its Victorian era architecture, Naval dockyard and waterfront Marina is a 5 minute drive away and boasts a number of interesting shops, restaurants, coffee shops, museums and art galleries.

Simon's Town Reviews

All the wonderful things to see and do!! We stayed at Boulders Beach Lodge where, from the deck, we saw penguins walking in the car park!! Really awesome stuff!!! Boulders Penguin Colony is something else. Do yourself a favour and get there!

Then there's the Jubilee Square Craft Market and the Harbour (we liked Fran's Place and her story), we visited the Toy Museum, danced to live music at 2 and 6 Pence, enjoyed the elegance of the Lord Nelson Inn where we had pizza and watched the Champions League final, spent a laid back afternoon sitting at the Black Marlin having wine and oysters and just watching the boats down below and then views, views and more views!! Absolutely breathtaking!

We'll be coming back to camp at Smitswinkel Bay (bucket list stuff!) and at another time at Miller's Point, can't wait!!!

P.S. Was surprised and sad to see that the British Hotel is closed. I really wanted to have a sort of tour of the inside if they'd have allowed me. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what is happening there?
