We had an absolute wonderful 2 nights at the Olive Thrush Cottage in Prince Albert! When we arrived round 18h00, the indoor fireplace was lit and fresh oranges arrived with the charming owner Paul! The sheltered boma was well used by us both nights with wood galore that made me very happy! I can gladly recommend the cottage - and the Jack Russel Chloe had a great time sniffing about - safe and well fenced for all small four legged friends!

Lovely little gem of a town. Lots of things to do, eateries and little shops and galleries to visit. At the base of the most spectacular mountain pass in all Africa.

The charm and character of this town impressed me. The Karoo gardens are beautiful and there are interesting local products for sale. I recommend the book shop in Marlene's home.
